Upon the Resident Evil 4 Remake release, I absolutely adored the Regenerator design. I wanted to create a bust in inspiration of character design.
This project started in ZBrush with the use of Pureref for reference imagery. I hand sculpted all the features within ZBrush and then exported it into Maya for Retopology. Once the retopolgy was done, I baked the higher mesh onto the low and then began hand painting it in Adobe Substance Painter.
This was a fun project to do, this piece is for display purposes and to further enhance my skills in character design. I've learnt some new techniques during this project, and I'm eager to further continue my experience in creating characters with the use of 3D sculpting, modelling and painting.
